Are you a budding Electrical Design Engineer with a knack for inquisitive exploration and an appetite for tackling multiple projects simultaneously? If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, diving into labs, and are enthusiastic about designing and testing PCBAs and electrical systems, this role might be your next adventure.

 

As an Electrical Design Engineer Level 1 at Hatch Product Development, you'll:

  • Cross-Functional Team Player: You'll be a key player in our cross-functional technical teams, where your contributions will help turn innovative concepts into reality. You're comfortable working both independently and as part of larger teams.
  • Design and Testing: Your playground will be our office and labs, where you'll design and test Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) and electrical systems. From conceptualization to execution, you'll be in the heart of the action.
  • Inquisitive Mind: Your inquisitiveness is your superpower. You'll work on multiple projects simultaneously, constantly seeking solutions, and delivering results that exceed expectations.
  • PCBA Expertise: You're well-versed in PCBA design, debugging, testing, and the seamless transfer of designs to manufacturing. Your hands-on skills in this area are invaluable.
  • Component Research and Selection: Your discerning eye helps you research, evaluate, and select the right components for our projects, ensuring the best quality and performance.
  • Altium Designer: As a master of Altium Designer, you'll use your expertise to create and optimize our electrical designs.
  • PowerPoint and Excel Guru: Your mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel will help you communicate your ideas clearly and efficiently, allowing our projects to progress seamlessly.

 

Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of applicable experience
  • Bachelors in EE or Computer Engineering or related field
  • FW development and debug is a plus
  • Proficiency in Altium Designer.
  • Passion for innovation and an eagerness to explore new concepts.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Experience in PCBA design, debugging, testing, and manufacturing transfer.
  • A keen eye for component research, evaluation, and selection.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for effective communication and reporting.
