Job Description:

Are you a procurement pro with a passion for organizing and negotiating? Are you ready to take on the challenge of sourcing materials for a wide array of products across different industries? Hatch Contract Manufacturing is seeking a vibrant Buyer to play a key role in our success. Your responsibilities will include:

• Mastering the MRP Process: You'll be responsible for planning, organizing, and scheduling the procurement of goods and services, ensuring a seamless MRP process that keeps our projects on track.
• Sourcing and Selection: You'll quote, source, and select new suppliers, using your negotiation skills to secure the best terms and conditions that benefit both parties.
• Vendor Management: Managing vendors, prices, and delivery schedules will be a part of your daily routine. You'll maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure they meet our high-quality standards.
• Purchase Orders and Invoicing: Efficiently managing purchase orders and invoicing for all vendors will be crucial to keep our operations running smoothly.
• Collaboration: Working closely with our Operations and Project Management teams, you'll ensure successful project delivery and product outcomes.
• Excel Expertise: Your proficiency in Microsoft Excel will be an asset as you track and manage procurement data.

Qualifications:

• High school and/or college graduate
• Minimum of three years of material sourcing experience in electrical, mechanical, and/or electromechanical custom and off-the-shelf parts.
• Strong ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks, ensuring that procurement operations are efficient and effective.
• Experience with domestic and international logistic interfacing is a plus
