Hatch Named One of 25 Winners of the 2025 Chicago Inno Fire Awards

Hatch Product Development & Contract Manufacturing has been named one of the 25 winners of the 2025 Chicago Inno Fire Awards, presented by Chicago Inno and the Chicago Business Journal. The annual list recognizes 25 companies that are setting Chicago’s startup scene on fire through innovation, momentum, and impact.

Selected by the editorial teams of both publications, the list spans industries from AI and quantum tech to biotech and manufacturing. Hatch was featured in the “Biologists” category, which honors startups driving progress in life sciences, biotech, and climate tech.

Headquartered just outside Chicago in Waukegan, Illinois, Hatch is transforming U.S. manufacturing by embedding product and design engineers directly into the manufacturing process, bridging the gap between prototyping and production with speed and precision. Hatch is certified in ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016

Over the past year, Hatch opened a new office in Shenzhen, China, expanded its international vendor network, and supported dozens of engineering projects across highly regulated industries. The team has helped clients secure patents, bring new products to market, and navigate complex product development cycles from concept through full-scale manufacturing.

In May, Hatch announced a technology licensing deal with Argonne National Laboratory for next-generation electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, reinforcing its commitment to U.S. innovation and sustainable mobility.

With plans to double its manufacturing output in 2025, Hatch continues to scale globally while staying deeply rooted in the Midwest innovation ecosystem.
